Look at this long list of failures in my hand.
look and wonder at all of the marvelous
mistakes i have lived long enough to make
and suppose my whole life
were swallowed by failures
in waves and currents,
eddies and froth,
all circling the drain
of my imperfections
I would not condemn myself
because
at least i tried
